A Honda battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your auto.It is also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its chief goal would be to start the Honda engine.
The alternator supplies electricity for the car once the engine is operating.
Commonly, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to discharge a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, and the lifespan of the Honda battery can be reduced by a total discharge.
